MagnetGate
MagnetGate and Requant
MagnetGate is a free, open-source (MIT) VPN for websites, video and calls, with apps for Windows, macOS and Android and ready-to-use nodes in Finland and the Netherlands. It is the first service that accepts RQT: on the test network, anyone can buy days of full access with test RQT, and the free tier stays free.
Why a VPN belongs in the Requant picture
- A use for the coin from day one. Network capacity is something people need every day and already pay for. MagnetGate turns RQT into access: mine or receive coins, pay, connect.
- The chain already has what services need. Per-customer deposit addresses, watched through the node's public API; confirmations; offline sweeps; and, in consensus, 2-of-2 outputs and time locks for payment channels.
- A path to paid exits. Next, people who run exit nodes can earn RQT for the traffic they carry, and later clients can pay per use over one-way payment channels, without any change to Requant's rules.
- Open source both ways. MagnetGate works without payments for anyone who runs it for themselves; payments are one optional feature of one deployment.

Test RQT has no value: full access is paid with coins from the faucet or from mining on the test network. Prices and limits are the operator's settings and may change.
- Apps with the payment screen: Windows 0.3.5 and Android build 264. The macOS build follows.
- Payments are credited after 6 confirmations, about 6 minutes.
- The operator's server holds deposit addresses only; the keys that can spend the deposits are kept offline.
Get started
- Download the app and get a free personal code at magnet.norma.so.
- Activate the code in the app's personal-access settings and connect.
- For full access, open the Full access block, copy your deposit address and send RQT to it (paying with RQT).
Get test RQT from the faucet or by mining in the pool.
